دکتر آنژیلا عطایی پیرکوه استادیار ویروس شناسی و رییس دپارتمان پاپیلوما در مرکز تحقیقات ویروس شناسی بالینی دانشگاه علوم پزشکی تهران است. دکتر عطایی مدارک کارشناسی ارشد و دکترای تخصصی ویروس شناسی را از  دانشگاه‌ها ی علوم پزشکی ایران و علوم پزشکی تهران اخذ کرده است و هم اکنون علاوه بر فعالیت در دانشگاه‌های علوم پزشکی ایران و تهران به عنوان عضو کنسرسیوم دانشگاهی مقابله با کووید 19 با شبکه تحقیقات بیماری‌های ویروسی وزارت بهداشت، درمان و آموزش پزشکی همکاری می کند.
